re United States, No. 14-70486 (M. Smith with Friedland, concurrence by Wallace)
--- The Ninth Circuit admonished a judge of the District of Nevada for his
policy of denying pro hac vice admission to DOJ lawyers who were not members of
the state bar. Judge Wallace concurred,
but complained that the opinion was advisory because the district judge had
changed his policy after the government filed its mandamus petition.
